Mobile development FAQ
- Native or cross-platform?
- We default to React Native + Expo because it ships to iOS and Android from one codebase with truly native feel. When a project genuinely requires native modules (heavy AR, complex Bluetooth, deeply native UX), we write them in Swift or Kotlin and bridge them in.
- Will you submit the app to the stores?
- Yes. App Store and Google Play submission, store listings, screenshots, ASO basics, review questionnaires and the first review cycle are included.
- How do you handle updates?
- OTA updates via Expo for JS-only changes (instant, no store review), native binary updates when needed. We set up TestFlight and Play Internal Testing for safe rollouts.
- Can the app work offline?
- Yes. We build offline-first sync engines for apps that need to keep working without a connection — field tools, in-store apps, transport, healthcare. Local-first by default, conflict-resolved on reconnect.
- Do you do app maintenance?
- Yes. After the 30 days of post-launch support included, we offer monthly maintenance retainers for OS updates, library bumps, store policy changes and small enhancements.
